At The Balanced Scholar 30A, we believe in the power of collaboration, community, and tailored education to enrich the homeschooling journey for both parents and students alike.

We recognize that learning happens not only within the confines of textbooks but also through hands-on experiences, exploration of the arts, and engagement with the world around us. Our co-op offers a rich tapestry of classes, workshops, and activities designed to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and cultivate a lifelong love of learning.

At The Balanced Scholar 30A, we believe every child deserves an education tailored to their strengths and interests. Our homeschool/microschool program offers flexible, high-quality education focusing on personal growth, academic excellence, and a love for learning.

When students control their learning, they create a sense of belonging and define the classroom. Student choice fosters active participation and boosts engagement. Researchers note that this autonomy correlates with enhanced well-being and academic performance. At The Balanced Scholar, we promote intrinsic motivation by helping students be and do their best daily.

As a member of our homeschool community, your child will have access to:

  • Customized Curriculum: Our curriculum spans core subjects such as mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies, as well as a diverse array of electives like art, coding, and world languages. Each course is designed to engage students with hands-on projects, critical thinking exercises, and real-world applications, all tailored to match each student’s unique learning style and pace.

  • Flexible Learning Schedule: With no rigid schedules, families can create daily routines that suit their lifestyle. Whether you prefer a traditional schedule or a more relaxed approach, our resources and materials are accessible at any time, allowing for a personalized learning environment that promotes balance and well-being.

  • Innovative Learning Platforms: Our program includes access to a robust online learning platform, where students can participate in interactive lessons, complete assignments, and track their progress. This platform includes multimedia resources, video lessons, and engaging assessments to keep students motivated and on course.

  • Community and Extracurriculars: To build connections beyond academics, TBS 30A offers optional extracurricular activities, such as physical education at the Boom Boom Room 30A, local meet-ups, and group field trips. Families can join a community of like-minded homeschoolers and share experiences, ideas, and support in a safe, nurturing environment.
